As we navigate the changing nature of COVID‑19, we are continually working with industry partners, performing arts companies and producers around the world to assess our program of events and performances.
Bran Due Dae
Unfortunately, the ongoing restrictions on mass gatherings means it is no longer possible to present the 2020 season of Bran Nue Dae.
While this is immensely disappointing for us and the artists involved, your health and well being and that of our artists, our staff and their families remains our priority.
All ticket holders will be contacted by QPAC directly and will receive a full refund. QTIX will process refunds automatically. There is no need to contact QTIX unless your details have changed. If this is the case, please email QTIX firstname.lastname@example.org and include your name and booking reference number, but do not include credit card information.
With the volume of refunds QTIX is processing, this may take a little longer than usual and we ask for your patience. If you have any questions we are here to help. Please call the Opera Queensland ticketing team on 07 3735 3056, Monday – Friday 9am-5pm or email us at email@example.com.
Recitals – new dates for José Carbó and Jason Barry-Smith
Restrictions will be eased from 10 July 2020 to allow indoor gatherings for a maximum of 100 people. Our recital audiences are intentionally intimate and will fall under the 100-person threshold so we are delighted to confirm new dates for our recitals with José Carbó and Jason Barry-Smith.
José Carbó – A Musical Life… Songs that taught me how to sing
Rescheduled from 22 and 23 May to 11 and 12 September 2020
Jason Barry-Smith – A Life in Many Parts
Rescheduled from 19 and 20 June to 28 and 29 August 2020
We will provide an update on the Bradley Daley performances scheduled for 31 July and 1 August soon.
The health and wellbeing of you, our artists, our staff and their families remains our priority and we will ensure all public health and social distancing measures are maintained including physical distancing before, during and after the performance.
One of the greatest challenges of negotiating this crisis is not knowing when we will be able to return to the theatre. We are hopeful we will be able to do this before too long. Until that time, we thank you for the kind words of encouragement and support you have been sharing.
If you have any questions we are here to listen: 07 3735 3030, Monday – Friday 9am-5pm or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We thank all our supporters and audiences for their understanding at this time.
