2020 YOUTH WORKSHOPS

OPERA QUEENSLAND STUDIO

Youth Classical Workshop

This workshop will provide the opportunity to learn language, stagecraft, and musicianship on your chosen piece of classical music. Maximum 12 participants.

Youth Contemporary Workshop

This workshop will help you master contemporary and music theatre vocals, from Rodgers and Hammerstein through to Bernard Fanning and beyond. Maximum 12 participants.

Youth Choral Workshop

In this full-day workshop, you will explore ensemble pieces from contrasting periods in musical history.

Suitable for students in years 7 – 12

CANCELLED: TERM 2 SCHOOL HOLIDAY WORKSHOP 

There is a saying in our business that “the show must go on” and there have been many times over the years that we have seen the passion and hard work of artists and crews put a show on stage that only hours earlier seemed impossible. We are therefore greatly disappointed to share the news that due to the challenges and concerns created by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to cancel upcoming Youth Workshops.
